Apparently we are hours from an NFL ‘Lock Out’, whatever that means. From some followers I have on twitter, its where the football players refuse to play until they get more money.
This is a joke right? Sadly, no it’s not. Apparently these guys, want more money. Of course they do, they are money hungry. Who cares that the worst quarterback in the history of the NFL gets paid 102 million dollars, over the course of his contract with the Pittsburg Steelers? Not me, that’s for damn sure. What in the heck do they do that’s so awesome they deserve to make millions? It’s not like they are NASCAR drivers!
Yes, that’s right I said it. You would never see NASCAR drivers bitching about wanting more money. They are there to race, to drive a car, and drive it the best they can. Some drivers go to the track every weekend, even if they don’t have sponsors for their cars, because its their passion. If you ask me, NASCAR drivers should be paid more then they are.
They drive cars around tracks at upwards of 150 miles and hour. Football players just throw a damn ball back and forth, and if your Ben Roethlisberger, you get paid 102 million dollars just to get a concussion, and throw a ball, and get sacked. Big Effing Deal.
To the NFL Player : Grow a pair and drive a Race Car, then we’ll see who’s bitching about making more money.
